Agent-less mainframe management

ioEnterprise does not require an agent for its mainframe management. In the mainframe environment, this provides significant advantages:

• Uses the existing/native facilities on the managed system and does not require additional software (or the resulting cost/maintenance that comes with an installed application)
• No conflict with platform types, operating systems, or other applications
• Command and control of mainframe systems during IPLs, startup, system failure, or in the event of system instability—optimal for disaster recovery operations

Flexible connectivity

ioEnterprise provides connections to the IBM mainframe (zSeries) using the OSA-ICC, IBM 2074, Visara SCON or any TN3270E Controller.
