ioEnterprise Event Manager provides configurable services to capture and process all system, application and user-definable messages generated from events that occur on the System i, iSeries, i5, and AS/400.

Agent-based midrange management

The ability for midrange servers to segregate the operating systems allows ioEnterprise to effectively utilize an agent to manage the events on these systems without the costly maintenance problems typically associated with using an agent.

The agent captures and forwards configured events to the ioEnterprise Event Manager and can also provide local event response automation where required. The solution supports monitors that enable additional system software and hardware monitoring e.g. Disk, queues, communications, and so on.
